Ordinary Miracles- The Water Cat Adventure and a Mediterranean Feast

The snow, it is difficult to remember as it was about 30 degrees Celsius today, actually preserved the tulips.
They are just dropping their petals now.

Marcello… hosed out of the tree!   Poor little kitten.  He ran up and up and up  and….UP!  then he decided he needed to be rescued.

LoML spritzed him with the hose. It was pretty effective for he found the most efficient and zippiest way down. I was all for calling the fire department.

The tough pansy… still growing from last year. It is so good. I love looking at it. A few of the brussel sprout plants also continue to grow from last year. Wild.

What is for dinner on the hot days? Grilled Vegetables quick marinade in lemon, crushed garlic, a swish of oil.

Moroccan spiced leg of lamb. Cumin, ginger, garlic!! lemon juice and zest, crushed chili peppers…

AND
Tabouli salad. Parsley, bulgur wheat, onions, tomatoes, lemon juice, salt and oil. Swoon.

Seeds for the garden. Spinach, carrots, beets, peas, lettuce, lettuce, lettuce!
Tomato and pepper plants are ready to go out. The apple trees are in full blossom.
We just bottled the cider and wine made from them last year, the other day.

Ordinary miracles…
